Sometimes the picture is worth a thousand words.
Were those the two who were shot? If so I can see why.

Awesome pictures. Really scary about that sniper.
Been through your whole blog, you've got the best and the most dangerous job. To sum it up.. there's never a dull moment for a job like yours. Wholesome way to pass time visiting your blog :)
Wow, I guess I wasn't watching the local news today. Thanks for keeping us informed.
as far as global stories go, this one's kind of melancholy but ranks up there....how did you get your photos? any ethical qualms there at all?
I live in the DC area so I know how scary a sniper can be. Great pictures though, congrats about Dania that's awesome.

href="http://theworldaroundtheworld.blogspot.com"yeah you are doing a great job. hey check this site out
thats really sad! i watch the news everyday and i've never heard of it..
My job can be exciting and is almost always interesting, but there are many jobs more dangerous than mine.By the way, the two cops with the guns are just guarding the perimeter access roads. The sniper was about a mile away. Sorry if that makes what I do seem less interesting, but that's just the reality of it. We can (and have a right to) go into dangerous situations, but we're just like the general public in that we have to stay the hell out of active crime scenes. I get plenty of excitment just being close to the action.
Wow, scary stuff
I wish snipers would just shoot themselves dead first, and then ...
